April Davis,
Managing Director
April Davis is a life-long resident of Corinth. She was born in Booneville, Mississippi, and grew up with two sisters, her twin Amanda, and Melissa.
April graduated from Alcorn Central High School and went to Northeast Community College to study elementary education. On August 25, 1999, while she was still in college, April started working at Country Cottage. After working with the elderly at the Cottage, April realized that is where she needed and wanted to be, so she changed her major to nursing and began to work toward that degree.
In 2001, April married Tony Davis and the couple had a daughter, Alyssa. April took a little time off from school so she could care for her daughter and work at the Cottage. In August 2003, April was promoted to Resident Services Director, and in 2005, to Managing Director position. She and her husband recently had another child, this time a little boy, Jackson.
“I am so honored to hold this position with Country Cottage,” April says. “I look forward to the opportunity to care for our residents and serve the community as Managing Director. The last many years at Country Cottage have been such a great pleasure.”
We are so happy to have April in our Cottage family and are so proud of her success!
